The Open University of Mauritius (OU) has developed Employability Skills Courses that allow learners to acquire soft skills that are as important as academic qualifications, especially in an era of rapidly evolving knowledge.

Effective negotiation allows one to achieve more whilst winning the support of all parties involved. Considerable research has been conducted in the field of negotiation to identify and develop the most appropriate techniques and approaches for one to obtain the desired outcomes from a negotiation. In this Negotiation Skills course, you will be introduced to the fundamentals of negotiation, including its basic principles and the various stages involved in the negotiation process. You will also explore the role of emotions and ethics in negotiation, equipping you to handle multiple situations effectively.
