Fundamentals of the Principles & Practice of Quality Management

The Open University of Mauritius (OU) has developed Employability Skills Courses that allow learners to acquire soft skills that are as important as academic qualifications, especially in an era of rapidly evolving knowledge.

Quality has become an inseparable practice and a major goal for any organisation to ensure long-term survival and make the customer a lifetime partner. Quality does not come by accident. An organisation’s management must establish, document and implement a user-friendly and result-based system to impact customer satisfaction and improve its operation positively.

This course aims to provide learners with a deep understanding of the fundamental principles and practices of quality management and their applications within organisations and in their daily lives. Additionally, it seeks to build capacity for ongoing personal and professional development.
