MBA with Specialisation in Human Resource Management

The MBA with Specialisation in Human Resource Management (HRM) is a flexible and accessible postgraduate programme designed to develop advanced competencies in managing people, performance, and organisational change. It combines core business administration principles with specialised knowledge in human resource strategy, talent acquisition, employee development, industrial relations, and organisational behaviour. Ideal for HR professionals and aspiring leaders, the programme equips learners with the skills to foster a productive workplace culture, enhance employee engagement, and align human resource practices with organisational goals in a dynamic and competitive business environment.
Traditionally, MBA programmes have been expensive and limited by the constraints of conventional learning systems. In response to the growing demand for affordable and flexible HRM education across the Commonwealth, the Commonwealth of Learning (COL) developed this specialised MBA to strengthen leadership and management capacity in the field of human resources. Delivered through an Open and Distance Learning (ODL) model, the programme provides accessible, high-quality education that allows professionals to balance their studies with work and personal commitments. COL, in collaboration with a consortium of partner institutions, ensures that the programme upholds rigorous academic standards, practical relevance, and international recognition—preparing graduates to become strategic HR leaders who drive organisational success and sustainable workforce development.
