MBA General
The MBA General is a flexible and accessible Master of Business Administration programme designed to equip professionals with essential skills in leadership, strategic management, finance, marketing, and organisational development. Ideal for aspiring business leaders and working professionals, this programme offers a strong foundation in core business disciplines, enabling learners to advance their careers in diverse industries and global markets.
The delivery of MBA programmes has in the past been quite expensive and restrictive due to the high cost of higher education and the physical limitations of traditional learning modes. The Commonwealth of Learning (COL) developed this programme in response to the growing demand for affordable and accessible business education across the Commonwealth. By adopting an open and distance learning (ODL) model, the programme overcomes barriers such as time constraints and tuition costs, making online MBA education more inclusive. COL facilitated the development of the programme through a consortium of partner institutions, ensuring high academic standards and regional relevance.
