Mrs Padmini Gaya Gookool

Mrs Padmini Gaya Gookool is a young and dynamic Lecturer and Programme Manager in the field of education at the Open University of Mauritius. With a strong passion for youth development and a commitment to advancing research on green pedagogical approaches, she is dedicated to shaping the future of education through innovative and sustainable practices. Mrs Gaya Gookool has participated in numerous international youth development and education forums, engaging with global leaders in the field. Her international experience reinforces her dedication to promoting high-quality education on a global scale. Currently, she is co-authoring two academic papers with a colleague from Symbiosis International University in Pune: one focused on teacher leadership styles and the other on school head leadership styles. Additionally, she has contributed a scholarly article on the Wakashio Disaster to an encyclopedia, showcasing her interdisciplinary expertise and commitment to addressing relevant educational issues.
