
Mr Rajiv Chooramun
Rajiv Chooramun is a dedicated lecturer and Programme Manager for Statistics, as well as the Programme Coordinator for SSP Mathematics at the Open University of Mauritius. With five years of experience teaching at the tertiary level across different universities, his expertise lies in multivariate analysis, particularly focusing on data mining and principal component analysis (PCA). Rajiv is currently pursuing his PhD in Statistics, demonstrating his commitment to advancing knowledge in his field. He is on the verge of publishing two research articles on data mining and PCA, which aim to broaden the understanding and practical application of statistical methods in real-world contexts. Rajiv’s research interests and dedication to fostering innovation in academia continue to shape his teaching, helping to prepare students for careers that demand strong analytical and statistical skills. His contributions significantly enhance both academic inquiry and the applied understanding of statistics.
