Mr Ballah Permall

Ballah Permall is a dedicated senior Lecturer in Media and Communication at the Open University of Mauritius, where he has been teaching since 2014. With extensive experience in media studies and the production of educational multimedia packages, he currently serves as the Programme Manager for the BA (Hons) in Communication, Media, and Journalism. Ballah holds a Master’s degree in Communication and Public Relations and has been recognized as a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), reflecting his commitment to excellence in teaching and learning support in higher education. His professional qualifications include specialized training in Educational Television Production at the BBC Open University Production Centre in Milton Keynes, UK, and in Radio Production at Deutsche Welle in Cologne, Germany. Through his work, Ballah strives to inspire and equip students with the skills needed to excel in the dynamic field of media and communication.
