
Ms Huda Maudarbux
Huda Maudarbux is a lecturer and programme manager at the Open University of Mauritius. She holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Mauritius and a Master’s in Finance and Investment with distinction from the Open University of Mauritius. Before joining the Open University, she worked as a teacher in state secondary schools. Currently, she is a doctoral research student, with her areas of interest including corporate governance, women in leadership positions, and small firms. Huda is dedicated to enhancing educational outcomes in her field and is passionate about promoting gender equality in leadership roles. Through her research, she aims to contribute to the understanding of governance practices and the challenges faced by women in business. Her academic background and teaching experience equip her with a unique perspective, allowing her to inspire her students and contribute meaningfully to the discourse on corporate governance and leadership in Mauritius.
