Master of Public Health (in collaboration with Imperial College, London)
The Master of Public Health In collaboration with Imperial College, London, programme aims to enable students to understand health and the determinants of health and disease, from the perspective of the population. It provides learners with a strong foundation of knowledge and skills across a broad spectrum of public health practice to promote, protect, and restore health through collective action, preparing them to play leadership roles in promoting global public health through improved practice, policy-making, system response and research. This Master of Public Health programme is set within the geopolitical context of the Southern African Development Community and addresses contemporary strategic, operational and academic issues in public health at national, regional and international levels.

A Bachelor’s degree with at least second class honours in life sciences in the following topic areas or a Medical Degree or Degree in Dentistry recognised by the aforesaid institutions:
Candidates must have a good mastery of the Englishlanguage. OU may consider prior learning and priorexperiential learning for admission to this program. |
