ENLISTMENT OF PART-TIME TUTORS
Foundation Programme (programme code: OUfc024)
The Open University of Mauritius is building its database of tutors and invites expressions of interests from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for part-time tutoring in the following modules:
- Spanish
- German
Minimum qualifications and work experience
- A Diploma/ Certificate in Spanish and German, as appropriate;
OR
A Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and German from a recognised institution and/or professional qualifications in the subject area;
OR
A2/C1/C2 CEFR qualifications, or any other equivalent qualifications.
- Prior experience in teaching Spanish or German, preferably at secondary, tertiary, adult education, or foundation level.

- Business English
- Business Studies
- ICT
- Entrepreneurship
- Writing Skills
- Marketing
- Public Relations
Minimum qualifications and work experience
- A Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution and/or professional qualifications in the subject area.
- Prior experience teaching the subject, preferably at secondary, tertiary, adult education, or foundation level.
Experience in blended, or distance learning environments will be an advantage.

Successful candidates will be expected to support the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning while fostering learners’ language proficiency and intercultural competence.
Remuneration: Rs 600/ hr
