Dr Takesh Luckho

Dr Takesh Luckho holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics, a Master’s in Applied Economics with a specialization in International Trade and Economic Diplomacy, and a PhD in International and Development Economics from the University of Mauritius (UOM). He was the valedictorian of his cohorts and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). Over the years, Dr Luckho has worked in various public and private institutions, both locally and internationally, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and International Trade, the European Centre for Development and Policy Management (ECDPM) in The Netherlands, and private higher education institutes such as Curtin Mauritius and Glamis Business School. His research interests focus on regional integration, international trade policymaking, public policy, and development issues related to poverty, inequality, and gender bias. Dr Luckho is committed to enhancing economic understanding and addressing social challenges through his academic and professional work,
