Dr Meera Gungea

Dr Meera Gungea is a Senior Lecturer specializing in social work and currently manages the social work and doctoral programs at her institution. She holds a degree in Social Studies, a Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Human Resources Management, and a PhD in Social Work. Additionally, she is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in the UK. With over a decade of experience in teaching and supervision, Dr. Gungea’s expertise covers a wide range of areas, including social work interventions and practices, social policies affecting vulnerable populations, gender studies, substance abuse and social work, industrial sociology, and the dynamics of teacher-student interactions in online and distance learning environments.
