Body Language
The Open University of Mauritius (OU) has developed Employability Skills Courses that allow learners to acquire soft skills that are as important as academic qualifications, especially in an era of rapidly evolving knowledge.
Studying Body Language Skills will help learners understand and appreciate the need for appropriate body language in various formal and informal situations. Moreover, it will help learners enhance their nonverbal communication, making them more effective in conveying ideas, emotions, and intent during presentations, group work, or interviews.
For career readiness, understanding body language, such as maintaining eye contact, good posture, and appropriate gestures, will help learners make a positive first impression during interviews and navigate professional environments more successfully.
