This conference, which is the third one held in Mauritius, is a platform where national and international academics share research, build knowledge and expand their networks. One of the keynote speakers, Prof Stefan Husig, holder of Chair for Innovation, Research and Technology at the Technische Universitat Chemnitz, Germany, presented a paper on, \u201cDigitalisation Meets Innovation Management: Drivers and Effects of Digital Innovation Management Systems in New Product Development\u201d. The e-MIG 2023 event highlighted the impacts of COVID-19 and emphasised the importance of sustainable solutions. With 72 delegates from academia, business, and government, the hybrid conference drew participants from South Africa, Mauritius, Croatia, Germany, and other African nations.
